Irish State Suite

The Irish State Suite is the most luxurious suite in the Abbey where you have your own Sitting Room, Dining area inside or out on the beautiful balcony, own ensuite and a beautiful bedroom.

The Rose Suite

The Rose Suite is decorated in various soft shades of Pinks. This was the Mother Superior's Bedroom. It contains fine Art works and various ornate pieces on the original cedar mantle.

The Blue Suite

The Blue Suite was originally the giant Parlour and has been restored with the original polished timber ceiling as well as the original fireplace and mantle.

Gatekeepers Cottage

Gatekeepers Cottage is the most private of all the suites available on the estate, situated in the old school house built in 1898.

Garden Suite

Situated at the front of the abbey where you can look at and walk out onto the spacious gardens. Private sitting room included.

  • About Lanigan Abbey

    Lanigan Abbey is furnished in the elegant style of the High Victorian Period. Throughout the Abbey there are extensive and valuable Artworks with all having been chosen to compliment the particular room that they are in.
    The Abbey is opened for tours by appointment, minimum of 6 people daily 11am and 2pm.
